Reviews: BF Goodrich 37x12.50R18 Tire, Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 - 00958

I purchased a set of 35" BFG Mud Terrains a few years back for the first time and loved them. When I was ready to move up to 37's they were out of stock. So, I purchased a set of Discovery SST Coopers in 37". Good tire but I sold them as I felt that they couldn't compete with my KM3. SO now my FJ Cruiser and JK Rubicon are both sitting on KM3 tires. These are great for the daily drive and excellent on the rocks. My JK will now move up to 39" KM3s as soon as these 37's wear down and my dana 60’s get built. Needless to say this will no longer be a daily driver. Unfortunately, this isn't happening fast enough. But I absolutely love these, and I think highly recommend them without a doubt.

I am the author of the previously titled Not Sure Yet review. We’ll I am pleased to tell everyone that after the remaining 3 tires were swapped and road force balanced, I am riding on a dream. Unfortunately I guess I got a bad lot of tires that seem to of had high spots on them. What those replace balanced it’s so nice to ride on new BFG‘s that are smooth, look great, perform great ad for a mud tire qiet on the road.

I just put on a set of 37-12.5 x 17 on my Jeep Gladiator Rubicon yesterday and I'm extremely happy with the ride,how quiet the are and handling on and off the road.

I bought a set of tires 37's for the Rubicon (2x), Dusy Ershim, and Fordyce. I have an old Defender TDI about 4300lbs I used to drive them at 32psi but the wear on them to Dusy from SF robbbed the edge treads (sad) they are a soft compound. So i upped the PSI to 47-50, never had a problem on road in the summer (dry). Got a great amount of performance from them on the Granite, no punctures or side wall gouges over 80 old miles of rock crawling (6psi abused Lit momentum bumpin') and 12000mls of on road use. I highly recommend Driving these are a great compromise of crazy crawling, decent mudding, and highway reduced road noise.

Yesterday i bought 4 new 285/70R17 Km3 tire one Of them the production date was 2319 is this ok?

BFG is the best tire on the market for my Jeeps. It's about time to buy another set but what happened to the white letters? That's a big deal since that solid white letter design has been on almost every Jeep/hot rod photo shoot since the 70's.

About 5000 miles since install. Good wet and dry traction. Tire noise is present, but is much less that expected. Driving at 70 and you have no problem carrying on a conversation. Plus, they just look AWESOME!

We replaced our aging K02's in Oaxaca, Mexico with a set of KM3's and they took us exploring offroad through the jungles of Central America to the great Paracas sand dunes of Peru to the Bolivian and Brazilian Amazon jungle. Had enough tread to make it back to the USA. Shocked they lasted that long on our heavily loaded Land Cruiser.

I have had these tires on my 2013 Jeep wrangler Rubicon for 20,000 miles. They are the best tires I have purchased for on and of the road performance. On road performance they have great traction is Rain and Snow. Off-road performance these tires are great under pressure and when needed. I have used the tires on countless rock crawling trips and absolutely no complaints. Not too loud cruising down the highway (70mph) for a Mud-Terrain tire.

I have had several brands of MT over the years. When the KM3 first came out I bought the first set that Tire World got thru the door. Right now I have 70000 miles on them and they need to be replaced. They have wore good for a MT, they ride great and are not too loud. My 2014 F250 is not a pavement prencess and the KM3s have gotten me thru mud that others could not make it thru. I have been trying weeks to find 35x12.5x18 replacements with Zero luck. I am hoping I can find some soon before I have to go to another brand. Don't hesitate to buy these tires if you find them.

I've seen a lot of reviews talking about they wear fast, I'd like to point out that for a tire to grip it must be soft, sticky compound. Yes they are gonna wear, don't expect 50k miles, Expect 20-25k tops. But let me tell you, I have never seen a tire perform so well in the mud and on rocks. These things just boss whatever I throw at it off-road. They have a great ride on-road, but off-road, aired down to 12-15psi, it's a whole other world. Such a good ride off-road aired down. The KM3's are just outright amazing. They have never let me down. Watch my video, the mud at the bottom of this water hole is texas clay, it's the slipperiest stuff known to man and these tires, man I have no idea how they do it but it just keeps going! My hummer and jeep will have BFGoodrich Mud-Terrains for life. The KM3's are absolutely awesome! Watch the video of my 7200lbs hummer h2 and my son's jeep hitting the same mud hole. I had bfg ko2's and decided to get some mud terrains and went with the KM3. I am happy that I did because these tires perform better off road and look cooler too. These perform well on the street and in the rain. I used to put my truck in 4wd sometimes when it would rain a lot and the streets would get flooded but with the mud terrain km3's I don't have to. I have had these tires for about 18k miles, used mostly on the road, and they still look awesome and have plenty of life left on them.

Picked these up in a 315/70/17 Let me say took these out to gold Mountain in big bear and these tire grip and are seriously best I've had.... Do run a little small tho :(

I have been running KM3's on my vintage Land-Rover, hitting tough trails deep in Death Valley for a couple years now. My drive just to get to DV is about 500 miles, and I am doing some other highway miles locally. The desert performance is great. DV is famous for shredding tires, but I have had no problems. I am stunned by the low wear on pavement. Highly recommended. Most of my L-R buddies "in the know" are running them.

I bought a set of 4 from some crack heads and I like the tires there great.

I had these tires and after 40,000 miles they still had 20-30% tread life left. Rotations are critical with these tires i found and needed to be done at about 5000 miles. Just slightly more road noise then my KO2's were but did get louder as they got older. they worked great in all offorad contions, sand, snow, rocks. On the road they were also very good but needed a little more attention in the rain but its a M/T so expected.

Have been riding on BFG all terrains and muds for my 3 jeeps and dodge truck for at least the last 10 years. Never had a complaint, easy decision to go with KM3s for this purchase!

Always ran bfgs on my old black Silverado. Great performance and look. But currently cant find my size with white letters anymore and I hate it. 305/65r18. Help me out here bfg. People still want white letters.

I drive a 1979 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 that I have had for 30 years, and it has always had BF Goodrich tires on it. I first put All Terrains on it at 66,000 miles and have since put a total of 3 sets of All Terrains and one set of Mud Terrains KM's on it. I just put a set of Mud Terrain KM3's on it today (at 250,000 miles) as the previous KM's have become too old. I wasn't driving it much and not paying attention to the age of the tire and realized that they were 11 years old. Not once have I ever been stranded due to a tire related problem, The only time I have to use a jack is when I rotate the tires. I have been extremely please with all the tires, but even more so with these latest KM3's. Unbelievably quiet and smooth riding, There has been a huge change since the original KM. This will probably be the last set of tires I'll put on the vehicle but my grandson will probably enjoy them since he will be the next to own it.

I bought a full set of 5 for my Rubicon. I went with the LT315/70R17/ E 121Q tires. I wanted 35 inch tires and the Goodrich website stated these tires at 34.4 inches. I thought that was close enough. Got my tires and drove them for a bit and then thought I would just check the tire height. Imagine my surprise when I measure them fully inflated (37psi) at 33.0 inches even. Not even close to the 34.4 stated on the website. Love the tires, but wanted the tire height.
