Reviews: BF Goodrich 245/50ZR16 Tire, g-Force Sport - 13737

I run Comp 2s on the front of my Camaro and really like them. I drive my car very hard and these tires handle everything I throw at them. I will definitely be using these tires again and just wish they had larger sizes. I run the Comp 2 in 275-40-17 on the front but have to run the 295-35-18 KDW on the rear since there currently aren't Comp 2s in that size. Hopefully when my KDW wears out there will be more sizes available in the Comp 2, other than that I love this tire.

I drive in the rain to and from work, and no tire I've ever used works harder. They grab on and do not let go! The new silica-infused tread compound really does something for the longevity. I'm not easy on my tires and these have lasted, even being as sticky as they are. I can recommend these tires both as a driver and a tire-installer

Great tread design aggressive looks !! Much better dry traction to handle the Horsepower (440HP) However really sucks that I will have to swap brands soon as BF Goodrich does not make tire in the sizes I need 245/45/20 and 295/35/20 , To bad because I really like the Comp2

I use these on my 2011 WRX daily driver. (very) spirited driving, occasional autocross. I like the value and the performance (dry and especially wet). I don't like having to get them popped of their wheels and switched left to right once or twice in their life span. Others might not like the ride. It is a bit more jarring than the OE tire, but I don't care. I am on my third set of g-Force sports, second car to have them. 2005 WRX and now 2011 WRX. I initially chose this tire for the value. Pretty low price and great reviews elsewhere. I have stuck with this tire for it's performance yes, but mostly the value. OE on a WRX is Bridgestone Potenza RE series. These BFG's are much cheaper, much better performing. I love the wet traction especially. I find these tires virtually unflappable in wet conditions. Craziness would ensue well beyond the speeds I'm willing to drive in bad conditions, and that is pretty fast, definitely extra-legal. I live in FL where it rains every day for 6 months. Wet performance is important to me. Cornering is also great. I find the sidewall inserts very effective. At my first autocross with these tires, I figured out I don't have to worry too much about the relationship between tire pressure and sidewall rollover. The chalk-on-the-sidewall test showed me that just about the perfect amount of sidewall rollover will happen pretty independently of tire pressure. This is a good characteristic for a tire, but makes it hard to tune the cornering balance of my otherwise stock car. But, there is more grip! Higher cornering loads anyway! The wear seems to be very consistent. I have seen other tires start wearing strangely on my vehicles in the past. Once a tire starts a weird wear pattern it is hard to correct. Not too much of a concern with these. I just rotate them every 5k or so, and have them switched from right to left once or twice in their life span (they have to be removed from the wheels to do that). The value is what keeps bringing me back. This tire is twice as good as a more expensive tire to me. They cost half as much as some with similar performance. So I can fit two sets in the same time for the same money!

My 2006 Dodge Charger SRT8 is primarily a "daily driver", with occasional trips to to the drag strip or cruising to the mountains and running the "twisties". I plan on trying some autocross soon. I am very impressed with these tires. Wet performance is almost "sticky" with very good recovery from a "slide out" in a wet corner with great braking grip. The seemingly excellent dry grip shows well in the turns and when braking. In turns, you can feel the stiffer sidewall working, as it seems to keep the car and tire centered on the road so the "uniquely functional" tread pattern can do it's job, and I have a 4200 lb car. Although I have not had them long enough for wear results (<5,000 miles), it seems to be very good so far. I figure that any tire that has such good grip performance must sacrifice surface material......time will tell.....but this is a small sacrifice for such an awesome set of paws. nn

Have them on my 2000 Miata LS and am very happy with them. Quiet and lots of grip in the dry and the wet. Could not be happier . I just hope thay last I have put on 750 miles since installation. The compound is state of the art and the car just stick like glue now I had to re adjust my suspension as the added grip was overwhelming. I would buy them again

Fantastic tires, I was running a set of Good year Potenza's Re 050A's on my 2005 Mini Cooper S and for a portion of the cost, blow the Potenza's away

Amazing grip even during the break in period. Have been using the tires for a couple of weeks now and am routinely able to take severe corners at double or more than the suggested speeds. It rained three days last week... or did it? The tires paid it no mind. I have yet to get even a squeal or slip out of them. The only slip seen is the smile breaking out on my face in a cloverleaf! On a more aesthetic note, the tread pattern looks particularly aggressive, symmetrical, and displaying a lot of contact area. Excellent balance of sticky compounding too. The best product in the competitive line, and the best value as well.

I replaced my Nankang NS-II's on my daily driver SAAB 9-3 Turbo with the new Sport Comp 2's 225/40/18 and wow what a difference! The ride is smoother, much quieter, and the improved handling/cornering is noticeable immediately! It really feels like a different car. Awesome product!!

Ive had these tires for 2weeks now and love them. I replaced michelin supersports with these tires and am very happy with the switch. I run through about 4 sets of tires a year. I drive up US129 once a week. The COMP-2's hold about 10mph more in some of the turns. I would go as far as saying these are the best Bang for the buck! I will be buying these again!
