I bought a set of new tires for my 88’ Toyota pick up the grip on these is perfect (idk if its my setup), also felt the weight difference from what i was running previously same dimensions, love how they preform on the street for a modified truck they did the job and really nailed it. Currently have 2 yrs with the tires and to be a daily driver and still have about 75% tread is amazing….
This set is were the replacements for the original Firestone OEM tires. These perform better and in my opinion safer in wet driving conditions. It is recommended that these be rotated every 5k miles.
Good all around summer performance, Wish they came in lagger size like 305 or 315 x19
I bought these tires a few months ago and they’re absolutely amazing. The grip in dry amazing is amazing. Cornering in these tires is also amazing. At high speeds they feel very stable. My only complaint is that they’re decent in wet conditions. But, overall they’re amazing.
I’ve run these on a few different cars I’ve owned, and I keep coming back to them. The stiff sidewall is excellent in corners, they have tons of grip, do really well in the wet, and stay very stable at higher speeds/ heavy braking. They’re a little noisey, but nothing outrageous. I comfortably drove a 9th gen Civic Si 8 hours to Chicago with these tires on it, and was very glad I had them each time I found a fun road along the way. I highly recommend.
I have owned two sets of this tires and they are amazing. Dry: They stick like glue, awesome traction and grip, the sidewall are stiff which helps in cornering, amazing braking with this tires. Wet: Still same performance, they perform in great manners in the wet, they give you confidence. Pros: grip, traction, they perform big time no matter the weather, plus they look cool. Cons: the only bad thing is noise. Treadwear: my 2 sets average life has been 26000 miles, after that they wear real quick. This tires without a doubt are one of the best UHP tires you can buy, Kudos to BF Goodrich!! But you have to updates this tires....maybe a new Gen...what about Sport Comp 3??
I am going on to my third set of these tires for my Mustang. I have a 2008 Mustang GT/CS Convertible. These are the tires that came with the car when I bought it new. I am averaging 52,000 miles on each set. I constantly rotate my tires. First set was mostly highway and replaced them at 55k. Getting ready to replace second set equal city and highway roughly 50k. I never do burn outs.
Bought these two weeks ago, and now my pony handles better. Buy it, you won't regret it. Also, for the price, I have nothing to complain about. My pony used to spin first, and half of second, then chirp third. Now it spins waaaaay less in first, chirps second barely and bites in third! Knocked 3/10 of a second off my 1/4 mile...
Ive been through 4 sets of tires on my SRT 300 in 50k miles these have lasted longer and been great in snow and rain. Great traction also will buy again.
I have ran the Comp-2 on numerous different cars, on the street and open track days. Hands down this is the best mix of street/open track day tire for the $. Consistent feel, braking, and feedback.
I picked up a new set of g-Force Sport Comp-2 245/50 R16 for my daily driver 1987 Trans Am WS6 in November 2018. I have put 10,000 miles on them so far and I am very happy with the performance of the tires in all weather conditions here in the Houston, TX area. I like everything about them. Great handling. Aggressive design. Super traction. I will buy these again.
I bought these tires a year ago and I am hooked on them! Great traction all the time. Also work well at the drag strip!
I got these tires a few days ago . They make my already great handling 2014 dodge charger s x t plus corner like a exotic sports car . I have the performance suspension on my car and the tires just add to the fun of driving this amazing car . I am really happy with them so far . As far as ride and noise they are ok . But remember with high performance tires this is par for the course . Also with special suspension you lose that smooth ride also . If you want a butter smooth ride get a older Lincoln . But if you want a car to handle like a Porsche get these tires . Oh by the way Michelin makes these tires as that bought out by Goodrich hears ago . Can't just go wrong in my opinion .
I replaced PIrelli P Zero summer tire that came on my 2016 Dodge Challenger - SRT 392 and the car handling performance and characteristics have drastically improved Unlike other reviews I read during doing my research they are relatively quiet and have a more cushioned ride but are tighter and more controlled in the corners And they have a great aggressive look that suits the car
Wife's Hyundai Genesis came with a set of these tires and they performed so well we purchase another set when they wore out. Quieter than most reviews would let on and the stick to the road like glue.
I put of set of 195/50R15 on my NB1 Miata and I love them. Surprisingly quieter than I expected when compared to the Hankooks I took off the car. They also have way more grip than my old tires did, which is what really matters! After a couple thousand miles they seem to be holding up pretty well and I have been pushing them hard going through fun canyon roads. Thanks for making a great tire and selling it at a good price!
For all the years I have been driving, I assumed that tires are tires - just that. With these tires g-force Sport comp 2, there is a notable difference in driving. These tires can make a rather conservative car wake up. As soon as I drove from the garage, the difference was obvious: amazing road grip and maneuverability. Bravo!
These tires bring a huge grin to my face every year when I change over from my winter tires to these summer high-performance tires! I can't believe the small handful of reviews that give them a poor rating. In my experience, they offer great grip and wonderful control. They inspire confidence! Dry performance is awesome, and wet performance is very good, in my opinion. (Wet is wet. Some people seem to expect miracles... Back things down a notch or two!) In exchange for this performance, a few things suffer. They're not whisper quiet. Ride quality is a bit harsher (but I consider this *communication*!). Tread life is so-so. They wander a bit when driving in a straight line. And fuel economy suffers a bit. But these are all things that I find quite acceptable in return for the number of *smiles* I get! I'm getting exactly what I expect. I've been through a few sets now and I happily continue to buy these tires again and again. I LOVE 'em!
I have a new set of these in the factory size of 275 40 17 on a 2004 Mustang SVT Cobra. For the unfamiliar, this is a factory supercharged hot rod. I see reviews here of folks unhappy because of no tread wear warranty, or wearing out in not-so-many miles. It's a performance tire folks. Which means the rubber is soft and sticky. I have been amazed at how little "chirp" I get when shifting hard from first to second in a "spirited" fashion. The tires are a little noisy, and I don't expect them to last a long time, but they do exactly what they are supposed to do on this car.
I am now shopping for my second set. These are the best tires I have ever purchased. Traveling salesman, driving over 500 miles per week. I have over 80,000 miles on my current set. I have 160,000 miles on my car, and these BFG's out lasted three sets of the other guys rubber. I would, and do, recommend these for everyone one !
