very easy installation and has helped fuel economy

Great quality, took about 15 minutes to install, makes a HUGE difference in power mostly at the upper half of RPM range. Unless you really have your foot in it, you really don't notice any noise difference at all, especially not at idle. Also added 2+ MPG during moderate driving. Quality product, instructions could be improved upon a little, but you don't really need them.

There are a lot of great things that come out of this product, First, you really do get and feel the power difference when accelerating. You feel your vehicle run smoother and struggle less when you give it gas. And it gives you a great rumble which sounds amazing when you accelerate. After driving for a while you do notice you get more MPG. Honestly perfect

Installed easily. Definite improvement in throttle response. You can hear the induction now when you step on it. Still not sure about added mpg, but for me, the increase in felt power was worth the price. I already had a high flow exhaust so I believe this just helped on the front end. Still a little pricey.

I had the Banks Ram Air Intake on my 06 Wrangler Unlimited. The install on my 11 Wrangler Unlimited was easier that the older one. This kit is a little more quiet than the earlier application. My only concerns would be in extreme mud and water situations. The older model was more enclosed, but I like the bigger filter on the New Banks Ram Air Intake!!

Super easy to install, looks and sounds great. Haven't heard any of the "whistle" that some other reviews talk about. Very happy with the purchase. Installed the monster exhaust at the same time and love it as well.

Replaced the stock system on my Rubicon with this and WOW what a performance difference. Response is greatly improved. Have not run a tank of gas through her yet but the performance alone was worth the cost. Would recommend to anyone owning a Jeep with a V6.

Easy to install, noticed that it smoothed out the Wrangler JKU's rougf idle at stop lights. Pulls stronger between 2000 to 3800 rpm's. Which is good when entering freeways.

I've put a banks intake on my last three jeeps and i love the change. Throttle response and increased acceleration are definitely noticeable.

My Jeep is a daily driver to work and home during the week, on the weekends its out to the river or beach. The Banks Intake has improved the gas mileage in town by at least 4 to 5 miles per gallon. The extra power boost is great.

Noticed the increase in throttle performance immediately. Felt like the first tank of fuel after installation went quite fast but that could have been me playing with the throttle a bit due to the new sound of sucking air when you got in it. Love it would recommend to a friend

Great intake. Wish there was a precharger wrap for when I go wheeling. The instuctions are awful, but its simple enough to install.

Noticed a big difference when playing around at the higher altitude of the rockies.

I threw this thing on my Wrangler JK. The instructions were annoying but managed to install it pretty easily. Noticeable change in noise at higher RPM's which is pretty nice, it makes the car seem less asthmatic when accelerating onto highways. I did not dyno it so can't speak about power differences but the gas mileage seems similar or improved. I'm a bit worried about water getting in the large opening there is in the filter enclosure (it faces downwards and frontwards) but so far so good.

Good overall fit, however, the housing comes in contact with wire loom and sensor housing on radiator support. Banks could have easily made the housing smaller to allow more clearance.

I used to have a Trueflow intake installed on my wrangler, I replaced it because it broke down. The heat created a big hole on it because of the aluminium material it is made of. No wonder why the company went out of business. After doing a research I went with banks. It does sound aggressive, good performance, looks great on my engine. Would recommend it.

My JK runs smoother with the Ram-Air intake. The throttle response is much better and it feels like it has more power (I haven't measure this). In the short time I have had the intake installed it seems like the gas mileage has decreased by about 1.5mpg. But this may be from me driving more aggressively to hear that awesome growl.

I have a 2010 Wrangler Unlimited, engine is doggy especially on highway, needing to pep up, the intake seems to boost power and make it easier to maintain 65 and 70 mph speed limit..haven't check gas milage yet. Easy to install, my wife grabbed it and said you just stay inside, I can do this, she only needed assitance removing the air flow sensor. Rated 4 Stars, nothing to compare to yet. I think I will buy a lift next and see what happens.
