I was referred to 4 WheelParts and BAKflip by a friend of mine who has had one for several years. I ordered mine and installed it myself on a 2013 Ford F150 Lariat. The instructions were good and installation easily done. There are a couple times when an extra pair of hands would be helpful as the instructions indicated, but not having those available I got along just fine. I drove through heavy rain for hours and was amazed at how little of it penetrated into the bed.

Self installation took about an hour. Highly recommend the MX4!

This is my second Bak tonneau cover in seven years. As soon as I purchased my truck new in 2014, I purchased the Bak Flip F1. It took pretty good abuse but after seven yrs several of the latches failed but had served me well. I just replaced it with the Bak Flip MX4. I ordered online from 4WP and was delivered in 3 days. It is by far an upgrade in terms of lighter weight panels and finish. Almost deducted a star from the review as the clamps and could be better designed. I had no issues with the previous F1 same design so I don’t anticipate any problems with the MX4. Very pleased with the purchase.

Best investment for my Tacoma TRD Pro 2023. Its been raining alot in California Q1 2023 tus far and this has kept my stuff in my bed dry! There some water drops on the walls due to not drilling out a hole for the hoses but otherwise works extremely well. Super sturdy and provides security. Easy install about 45 minutes, anyone can do it.

Easy to install thus don’t be afraid to take on. Great product although either heat of AZ the black bumpers may need to be glued in separately as the supplied adhesive is not heat friendly during installation.

Really happy with the MX4. Nice look on my Silverado Trail Boss. The bumpers work good but I wish it had forward braces in addition to the aft braces to keep it off the cab when the cover is folded open.
