Installation is straightforward. I fail to see the purpose of the bump things, as the product would break before it hits them.

Great addition to my truck, looks good and fits like a charm. If you haven't installed one before, I would pay the shop to do it. The grill removal isn't that easy, especially if you have a brush guard. It helps a lot minimizing the rock chips on the hood.

We have always used this brand of bug deflector on all our trucks and Jeeps. These continue to look nice and hold up well. Easy to install! Not only protects from bugs but also stones that might fly up from the roadway and nick the hood. Great product and 4 Wheel Parts shipped quickly!

One tool install and quick

The AVS Bug Deflector 11 was easy to install and fit my 2010 Silverado 4X4 LTZ's Hood perfectly. The Deflector worked well on my first Roadtrip with no stone damage incurred. Bug contact on my windshield was greatly reduced and I recommend this product to all Truck owners who want a product that works as well as it looks.

I put this on my daughters Nissan Xterra to protect the hood from bugs and rock chips. THe installation only took a few minutes and looks awesome on the vehicle. Daughter loves the look, she thinks it makes the truck look cool.

Our goal for this is to keep bugs & perhaps small rocks off the windshield. It seems to do just that and only took 15 minutes to install.
