Reviews: ARB Roof Rack Mounting Kits

These ratchet straps work perfectly for securing loads on my ARB Baserack. They’re quick to lock down and you can pre set them on the rails without them falling off before you ratchet them down. I’d recommend having a pair of these on hand if you have the ARB Baserack system.

Perfect kit for a Land Cruiser 80. Came with all six mounting points. Excellent design by ARB and service from 4WP.

Not as pictured. But that’s good because it’s the fits the FJ perfectly. I used this with three 80/20 aluminum bars 1530 46”, 45”, 44” from TNUTZ and a couple carriage bolts from Lowe’s. It holds my 300 lb roof top tent and road shower perfectly :)

Easy to install, looks great and fits perfectly. We are using this rack on our 2010 FJ cruiser. We opted for this rack over the factory rack based on durability and function. Highly recommend.

I little bit noisy even with the deflector. Whole unit is very solid and low profile. I love it.

Overall I'm happy with the build quality, look, and design. The middle and rear mount bolts are next to impossible to get at, and I'd prefer a slightly thicker gauge of steel, but I tend to overbuild everything. Use some RTV silicone under the rubber seals and you're golden. No leaks.

Instructions are somewhat vague and you have to order mounting hardware separately. That being said.make sure you have some extra help to lift and set it on your FJ.(very heavy) overall,once installed it looks great and not too much wind noise but make sure you tighten Allen bolts to keep the rack from vibrating.I ran into that problem.

Works very well this ARB Base Rack! Easy and convenient, much better than a normal ratchet strap.
