Huge upgrade

When I got a '21 WK2 I knew right away that with the massive nose dive and boat like handling along with terrible control on washboard roads that I'd have to upgrade. Got a set of the OME along with their springs (required on rear too as my WK2 had the load leveling shocks). Ended up with about 1.5" of lift, with about 1/2" rake, about 1/2" less rake than stock. The rear is a pretty simple 30-45 min job per side but the front is worth taking to a shop as it requires one of the wall mounted spring compressors to safely remove the top caps and install on the new struts. That at-home spring compressor won't get it done. By the time you deal with that you might as well have the shop do the front end as it will need an alignment anyways. Very happy with the ride now. On road, the nose dive on is gone and the ride is much improved. Not harsh at all, feels exactly like what Jeep should have spec'd the WK2 with from the factory. Off road is far more controlled on washboard at modest speeds. I had a 2014 WK2 that I did the same thing with a German brand of shocks and this is a nicer quality ride for everyday driving.
