Great economical option.

Shocks are great. Got these to replace a different brand that was leaking. The shocks were well packaged, arrived quickly and went in with no hassle. Very happy with the purchase. Beware the myriad spring and shock calving combos. If you know what you’re looking for it’s super easy.

Nice shocks and decent price, shipped fast

Received what I ordered, shocks ride really nice on my XJ, packaging was sufficient and items shipped quick. 4WP website was easy to navigate and the length info on these shocks was what helped me know I made the right choice.

No sticker shock

I ordered my shock online, and maybe it was my fault or the 4WP website match, but it didn’t fit. So two trips, twice the shop time, but they stuck with their quote. Thanks!

2012 Tacoma rear shock upgrade

I had previously installed OME coilovers for the front, and a lift block kit to the rear. I bought these to complete my suspension conversion from OEM to OME. I also added the FK29 kit just for insurance in case I had vibration issues from the driveline. Install is easy enough. It’s a little tighter on the bottom mount and lining up the bolt holes was the biggest challenge. I took it for a quick test drive on the road and light trails. The rear feels stiffer than OEM. Most evident when going over speed bumps. On the trails, it soaks up the washboards, dips, and bumps easily. It was not harsh, but definitely provides more feedback than stock. I will update after more road and trail use.

Going back to the best

Orignially had OME shocks and springs but then went LCOG. With 0 lift I switched to Bilstein 5100s. I was so despleased with the 5100s that I added coil spacers and switched right back to OME. Never looking back!
