Reviews: ARB Nudge Bars

Item was back ordered. I didn’t receive the item.

The directions say that if you have fog lights to remove the bumper shell, but not clear directions on HOW to remove it, so I didn't! I struggled to get the old bolts out as there is not much space it there! When putting the new brackets in, start at the top, and use the smallest hole first (two sizes) then the bolt that points towards the back of the SUV ... We then went to put the bar into the brackets, and it would not fit! Of course the tech dept here is CLOSED on the weekend! (when did they think I was gonna put this on?) I tried to call ARB, but they also are not open on the weekends! The bar was 5/8" too WIDE to fit in-between the brackets! I called ARB Tech help, and he was not sure, and would check it out ... he called me back about 3 hours later, and told me to take a cargo ratchet strap and compress the ends of the bar until it fit ... it took all I could to squeeze it to just barely push it, but then the nuts fell of ... they should have welded them on, but have little keepers (that don't keep very well!) to hold them into the bar ... It does extend the tow hooks a bit lower than stock, which will decrease the approach angle a little ... Overall I am happy with it now, I just wish there was more support for problems, and better instrctions.
