Night and Day

Got ARB bumpers for 2020 Rubicon and just cannot settle for anything less with lighting. Went with the Spot/Flood option and it works beautifully! When we got done wheeling and on to hard pavement and then the freeway my wife felt blind traveling in traffic without the ARB lights on. Pictures: Rubicon Halogen Head (Brights) and ARB Solis (Full Intensity). Truthfully the picture comparison does not do justice. It is really Night and Day.

ARB solis spot/flood kit

As intense as advertised. Check bumper space first. Had to mount brackets backwards to fit my bumper

Awesome lights

Spot beam pattern compared to flood beam. Headlights and Diode Dynamics amber sae fog light on.

ARB Solis

I had my eye in these since they were released and let me just say pretty remarkable for the fairly low price tag compared to smaller lights like Baja, KC, or Rigid. They are really well built, and very heavy, so much so I still need to pull off my bumper and weld in some tabs to strengthen it where they are mounted to keep them from shaking. One thing that was extremely intriguing about these is the ability to dim them with 5 output levels 5/25/50/75/100% which is definitely needed as any reflective object will blind you even on 25%. They should have made the 5% output more of a 10-15% as it’s barely visible with the headlights on. The only thing that took me by surprise was the wiring harness. The harness is well made but designed to connect to your headlight high beams and I wanted to run them off keyed accessory power so I cut off the connector and wired them that way. The one thing I would probably do differently next time is go with Flood/Flood option as the flood pattern is more of a spot and the spot pattern is more of a hyper spot in my book. On a straight county road it illuminates further than I can see but I do wish I had a little more side illumination and so for my driving, and most others, two floods would be more than enough. Overall awesome lights for the money.
