The steps are smooth, great work by 4wheels will recommend.

Love these power steps. They extend lower than the stock ones. I installed them in about 3 hours but i was not in a hurry at all. i did develop a rattle that drives me crazy but over all i love my purchase.

First, great service by the Fresno 4-Wheel Parts store. Purchased in-store on Friday and had them on Monday. I was immediately impressed by the packing. Organized, labeled, complete, and safely packed. I read through the instructions and pulled up some videos to prepare for my install. My helpers (sons) had plans so I decided to tackle it on my own. I had the steps installed and operating in a little under an hour. Very straightforward, with no hiccups. I found it helpful to run the wire harness loosely to the rear, then hook it up from the rear forward. What little excess wire there was, I tucked up near the fender well. After I confirmed everything was working as it should, I zipped-tied the harness and taped where needed. This is an excellent step. It seems insulting to just call it a step. Due to a disability, my wife had difficulty getting in the truck and had to use a small stool. The fixed type steps we tried at the dealership were too high. The Powerstep lowers to an ideal height for her, and it tucks away nicely under the cab. It is very well engineered and strong. Took the truck to show to some friends and they were very impressed with how it operated and looked. I see a Wrangler getting Powersteps soon.

Shipping from 4wheel parts was very quick. I installed the AMP Research powersteps myself. Installation for the plug and play version was quick and easy. The kit includes literally everything you need down to the zipties. These things are awesome.

Great product but it arrived with the wrong bolt kit. I had to go to a local hardware store and buy a handful of the correct bolts for my application.

The steps are amazing! The box I got from 4-wheel parts was damaged though. They had a few dings in the steps. That’s disappointing but other than that everything worked great.

ordered these because the 4wheel parts site says it fits the 2500 HD, well it doesn’t. at least not with your DEF tank still installed.
