everything is great about this product the only thing that i didn't like is that this part doesn't fit on Jeep Cherokee XJ

Much better than expected. We like everything about them. I am short, 5'4" (on a good day) and these steps give me just the right amount of boost into our Jeep. There is a 3" delay before the steps retract so they are not in/out/in/out/in/out when you are working with the vehicle.

Totally LOVE my steps. I am old but still like my JACKED UP JEEP!!

I started with the Bestop Powerboard and switched to AMP. The AMP Power Step is much more attractive with its rounded design and the way it mounts it pulls up tighter to the Jeep. The Powerboard looks OK but doesn't pull in as tight to the side and tends to leave one end sagging a little. I did however like the way Powerboard had plug-in connectors for the LED lights where as the Power Step requires crimping, or in my case I soldered them. I don't think there is any defect with motors or other quality of parts issues with ether one. Motors are what they are and occasionally will fail, especially if the idler and motor linkages are not aligned properly and the motor is required to work harder. It appeared to me that Bestop perhaps took their truck product and modified it to fit a Jeep where AMP made more of an effort on their Jeep version. Also when my AMP Power Step arrived with one of the boards slightly dented I called support during installation and got a live body right away who then said they would ship a new one pronto. I haven't received it yet but that was just yesterday. Good customer support AMP!

SOLID PRODUCT. EASY ENTRY/EXIT WITH 4" LIFT. HOLDS UP ON TRAILS AND MUD BOGGING. HASN'T CLOGGED OR JAMMED. WITH STOOD ROCKS AND TRAIL DAMAGE SO FAR BUT NOT INTENDED AS A ROCK SLIDER. MORE THAN WHAT I EXPECTED FOR A PRODUCT THAT LOOKS LIKE MORE "SHOW THAN GO"!

This was the one thing our new Sahara needed. At over 360 lb, there is no flex at all. Opens quickly and I think it looks better than the stock running boards when they are retracted.

Jeep Jk with 2.5 inch lift and a 5 foot wife , was not a happy lady about the Jeep. She is smiling again and the jeep is back in good standing. Thanks for a cool product. Jeepin again ,
