great idea!
the stock hold downs really suck! Watching the hood rise up an inch while driving scares the hell out of a person. These new latches work great,but, the install sucks..... for me anyway. My hands are to big to fit into the lower bolt area. After some creative removing of excess plastic, it did go together! end result is a nice looking hood latch that keeps the hood solid in place!

Great product, hell to put on
Had to remove many things to get to tighten the nuts. Not the job for a casual driver.

Good product.
Fairly easy to install. Stops hood flap at highway speeds that the JK is known for with the stock rubber hood tie downs. Looks good.
