Reviews: AIRAID PowerAid Throttle Body Spacers

This has to be one of the easiest things to add to your jeep to help increase performance. It works very well with my K&N Cold Air Intake. I was very impressed.

Throttle body spacers have tehir share of haters, and I must admit that I was skeptical about how effective they really were. When gas prices shot up the last time, I finally bit the bullet and bought the Airaid PowerAid. I'm glad I did! Installation took me about 20 minutes, the kit included everything needed along with a great set of instructions. Right off the bat I noticed a real improvement in throttle response right off idle. At speed, it seems like it's able to hold gears longer before the transmission downshifts. I picked up a little MPG improvement as well. I did notice the tone of the intake changed a little, which some might find annoying, but I actually really like the new sound. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Airaid throttle body spacer. I don't know about other engines, but it sure makes a performance difference on the 4.0L Jeep engine!

Great product, does what they say it does, better performance and the gas milage is about 2 miles to the gallon better. Also works great with my K&N cold air system.

Added this with my Banks Ram Intake System to an '03 Jeep Wrangler. The PowerAid spacer makes a nice addition and aids in throttle response.

Using with Airaid intake system. Have noticed better throttle response already. Haven't pulled my boat yet, but am expecting better performance and fuel economy.

Overall love this product, works just as advertised. I can feel a slight increase in throttle response and low-end torque. Plus that whistle is pretty cool. Installed easily in 20 min, and it also fit perfectly in conjunction with my K&N CAI. I would just recommend inspecting the cleanliness of your throttle body while you're in that area. I had the spacer on before and after I cleaned my TB, and I could tell the difference in sound and performance! (It was pretty gross) Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick inexpensive bolt-on performance part.

Everything was included for install, went on easy, and seems to improved torque slightly and seemed to have bumped my mpg up a few as well. So far I'm happy with the spacer.

Bought this about a month ago. Was kinda sceptical and had heard mixed reviews on forums but thought hey for the price ill give it a shot. Well after I put it on I instantly noticed a diffrence. I have a 2000 silverado 4x4 with a 6 inch lift and 35inch mtr tires. Felt like it really openned up the truck on low and mid range power that I lost with going to bigger tires. Havent noticed the gas mileage yet. Havent really taken a longtrip yet to check it but will be soon. Long story short I thibk its well worth the money!

The Poweraid throttle body spacer was super easy to install! I recommend them to anyone who wants better gas mileage and throttle response. Also the anodized red spacer looks really nice under the hood!

I have been a doubter since these things came out. I'm not saying it is a miracle, but if you need or want just a little bit more torque and horsepower than it does its job. VERY easy to install. Am very happy with this product

Was simple to install, gained 2 mpg, and smoothed idle out.

Better fuel mileage

This was the cheapest website I could find this product at and I was looking for a cheap but high output product and this is exactly what i got. I also installed a K&N air filter and flipped the top of my air breather to allow it to receive more unrestricted air flow and I think this aloud the throttle body spacer to perform at it best!

I Love the fact that is was so easy to install and the sytle was great. plus the performance i got out of it was awsome,it even gave me better gas mileage you cant beat that, plus i Love that sweet whistle that i hear everytime i mash on the pedal it lets everyone know that im coming down the road.

I really like this part the sound is awesome and performance is awesome i was getting 18 on the highway in my 2006 silverado z71 now im getting 21 its awesome!

As soon as i got it i popped the hood and in a hour had it installed and tested it out on the highway. On my fuel milage display prior to the install it read 17.3MPG and now it at 19.4MPG which is a great deal for saving some cash and gas stops. noticed a little on the throttle response but not too much. has a sweet whistle to it which is great to go along with and intake and exhaust, just gives an intimidating sound to my truck.

sounds kinda like a turbo, couldnt really feel a difference in hp, but with a roush cold air intake on my 5.4 it sounds sweet

The power aid Throttle Body Spacer has given me more power at the pedal and has increased my Gas milage.Works best with High flow intake which i have.And i also have a 3in Flowmaster Exhaust and high flow cats and Doug Thorly headers to top it off.
