    5.0 36364 Inner Diameter

    The ID for 36364 is 2.120". The questions & answers for this P/N are misleading. Called 4WP to clarify and they said it was universal to the CJ Dana 30. When 36364 arrived, the ID measured 2.120" and was a press fit on the outer stub shaft shoulder.

    A: Hello This is the one that goes on the stub axle behind the spindle. It works on the 1977 to 1986 Dana 30 in the CJ series of Jeeps. The inner dia is 1.875

    Q: There are 2 sizes of the outer axle dust shields for a DANA 30 outer stub axle for a 76-79 CJ5. Is this the smaller ID of the two? The larger one's ID is 2.120" and the smaller LD is around 1.860" to 1.875" I need the smaller one. People try to sell me the inner dust shield which is too small to put in place of the outer. Answer this question

    A: Hello Tim The Dana book calls for a part number 36364 for slinger on the stub axle. It fits all the Dana 30 CJ front ends.
