Winches are critical recovery components and true off-roaders recognize how essential they are. Smittybilt’s latest line of Gen2 XRC and X20 winches will be available in the spring of 2014 just in time for wheelers to hit the trails with confidence in their winches. The entire line of Jeep parts is waterproof with protected internals to stop rusting and prolong winch life.

“We listen to our customers very carefully on what they want to see in an ultimate winch," says Glen Kukula, Smittybilt Brand Manager. “Taking this valuable input, we evolved our lines of winches with increased performance and packed them with exclusive features."

Gen2 Features

The XRC8 was released over four years ago and off-road enthusiasts have been waiting for Smittybilt’s updates. All of the Gen2 winches feature 6.6 HP motors to give more power and they also have an increased line capacity. The Gen2s range from 9,500 to 17,500 pounds rated single line pull.

Additionally, the universal application winches employ stainless steel hardware, a matte black coating finish that’s UV-resistant, and several solenoid mounting points.
