Vehicle and its use: We own an '05 Jeep Wrangler X with a Fabtech 4" lift, 33X12 Hankook A/T Tires and Hanson Bumpers front and rear. There are other mods to improve the geometry that was altered by the lift. This vehicle is driven on the street most of the time. We take on the trails around our home once in a while. We vacation in the Eastern Sierra twice a year and run trails in the Sierra and White mountains from mild to difficult, but we don't deliberately drive over obstacles we can drive around. Call it an expedition set-up. During some of these excursions our brakes begame noticably HOT. Like smelly hot. We installed the pads along with EBC EBC 3GD Series Sport Slotted Front Rotors. The improvement was immediately perceptible. I simply need to put MUCH LESS pressure on the pedal to make the Jeep stop. We're still in the break-in period, but to my mind this mod was WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT, and based upon the improvement in performance, the truth is we should have done it sooner
