PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Detroit Locker maximizes traction by delivering 100% of the torque to both drive wheels. It is engineered to keep both wheels in a constant drive mode, and has the ability to automatically allow wheel speed differentiation when required. No other performance differential has the reputation for delivering traction in mud, snow, rocks and on the track.

A: Hello Brandon A locker doesn't take any special fluid. We normally recommend using a 85 - 140 mineral based fluid. Thanks

Q: How exactly does this locker engage? I am looking for a locker that will not engage on the road to prevent tire wear and dangerous turning. If this locker does engage on the road, are those concerns addressed? Thank you. Answer this question
A: Hello Devin, the Detroit Locker Toyota 8.4in. Automatic Locker part# EAT187SL199A engages whenever your foot is on the accelerator. This can make highway driving a bit trick. You will need to let of the pedal around corners so that it will unlock and not break traction. Thank you for your inquiry.
