The Detroit TrueTrac Limited Slip is an all gear driven clutchless differential. The TrueTrac will automatically provide smooth transfer of power from the slipping wheel to the non slipping wheel to help you out of a jam. Worry Free mechanical locker. Noiseless and always working. When power is applied, the wheels are locked.

This trutrac really works,I put them both front and rear it does in two wheel drive where before I would have to use four wheel drive,I still haven't found its full potential but it definitely works,I haven't found anything that I don't like about them

Q: What Carrier Bearings set (outer) should I order with this? 2013 Jeep JKU, Dana 44, 30 Spline, 3.73 Ratio (Replacing factory Trac-Lok limitted slip) Answer this question

A: Please use 2each TIM25590 carrier bearings and 2 each TIM25523 carrier races. These are the same as the stock carrier bearings on a non Rubicon JK Rear end. The Trutrac does not change the carrier bearing requirement.

A: It requires different bearings than a stock carrier is what my mechanic told me

Q: Yes , I have a 2012 jeep jk with a rear dana 44 373 gear do I have to get this part drilled out to 1/2" hole on the truetrac carrier ? Thanks Jeff L. Answer this question

A: Hello JL If you stay with the factory gear yes it will to be drilled to 1/2 it is 7/16th now. With aftermarket gears they are dual drilled and won't need to drill the TruTrac Thanks
