By now you’ve probably already seen Smittybilt’s Aluminum Winch Shackle that allows you to replace the conventional winch hook on the front of your winch with a closed system winch shackle to allow you to make safe and secure pulls with steel cable or synthetic winch rope while giving your rig a sleek modern look. Previously the Aluminum Winch Shackle (A.W.S.) was only available in an anodized black finish but this month, Smittybilt decided to offer a limited edition version for a great cause.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and as such, the team at Smittybilt wanted to do something special to help do their part in the fight against breast cancer. What the team came up with is something we think we can all agree is just flat out awesome. They decided to offer a limited edition Pink Aluminum Winch Shackle (A.W.S.) to help raise Breast Cancer awareness. In addition to that, Smittybilt is donating a portion of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society as they continue to look for a cure for breast cancer and save countless lives.

This limited-edition Aluminum Winch Shackle is precision machined from lightweight billet aircraft-grade 6061 T-6 aluminum and features a durable long-lasting Pink anodized finish. It’s also capable of withstanding up to a 20,000-pound load so it’s not just for show.

The Pink A.W.S. features the same great design as the standard black A.W.S. and is designed to work with both roller and aluminum hawse fairleads with either 3/4 or 7/8-inch D-rings and easily installs on any synthetic rope or steel cable up to 1/2-inch thick.
