Love it. Somebody should tell the ice that my 4-day camping trip ended yesterday… Heavy when fully loaded as this beast can pack a lot of food, beer and ice. Use the Yeti Ice! 2x4lbs with cubes on top. You won’t regret it. This thing will last for the rest of my life’s adventures and then some.

It is very heavy. Even more so with your stuff in it. I shoulda got the hauler one, but they didn’t have the harvest red.

Great cooler, worth the money. Received an email from Yeti following purchase with “tips for use” - including pre-chilling the cooler, suggested ice-to-contents ratio, eliminating empty space with towels, etc. These tips helped improved performance a lot. Has kept ice in cube-form for entire weekends.

I was thoroughly impressed with this cooler. I’ve used it once so far since I got it two weeks ago. Basically did everything I wasn’t supposed to do before using it. Didn’t pre chill the cooler, beer was warm, also didn’t put nearly enough ice in it for how many beers were in there. But 4 days later there were still remnants of ice in there!

Just follow the per chill instructions and your ice will last a week. Shipping was fast and easy I had it next day. The only down fall is the weight they are heavy but for the boat or the back of the truck they are perfect

First time I used my Yeti 65 was on a family vacation on a beach in Florida for a week. The cooler was packed with ice, beer, whiskey(of course), and food. It stayed in the trunk of my car the entire time and after I got home from the vacation there was only a small amount of water at the bottom. It kept cold and also kept almost ALL of the ice in 125 degree trunk of my car. BEST COOLER EVER!!!

It keeps everything very cold. It also is easy to clean and store when I wasn't using it.

I got a yeti because I needed something to keep the food cold for the 5 day trip to a remote campground in the Big Horn mountains. I just emptied the cooler. I found a package of brats encased in ice ( after 5 days). I am very impressed with cooler. Paired with the Yeti ice packs this thing can keep ice for days. I always pre-chill the cooler with a 5 lb bag of ice before going on a long trip. I have not had any issues with it not cooling. The only negative thing I have is If you are looking for a light cooler - this is not it. When fully loaded its heavy!

I just purchased my first Yeti (Tundra 65). The express shipping got it to my door just in time for a 4 day Summer adventure, and I was thrilled to see it was made in the USA. I packed 42 beers just as Yeti recommends, including 2 4lb Yeti ice packs, pre-chilling, 2:1 ice ratio, and the salt. The salt was a mistake. After drinking frozen beer for 4 days I pushed away several pounds of remaining ice to discover that even the ice packs were still frozen. I see why Yeti is still the brand to beat even with all the knockoff’s flooding the market. No regrets, consider me a fan for life. This cooler will probably be around long enough to pass on to my great grandchildren. Cheers!
