Reviews: Weather Guard DEFENDER SERIES Full Standard Saddle Box (Black) - 300105-53-01

I bought this a year ago or so and it’s been great to store all my tools in and after all this time it looks like two ATTEMPTS where made to break into it and both attempts the locks and latches haven’t broken each time I just bent them back into place and still works flawless!

I bought this about a week ago. Easy to install. Love Weatherguard stuff, built to last. I have another truck that has a tool box on it I bought in 1994. Works just like when I bought it. Keep up the good work.

I bought this box about a month ago and do not regret it at all! Very well built!

I just installed it last week, but I am totally satisfied with the fit and finish and fantastic amount of storage! Better construction than other brands I considered! I believe it will serve me as long as I have my Ram!

After using another brand I’ll say this is much stronger and better than any others.

I purchased this truck box through a local home improvement retailer after owning Weather Guard products in the past. It’s a very well made box with great features. It worked out great for my 2016 Ford F-150 FX4. The reason for me only giving 4 stars is I was a little disappointed in the lid weather stripping. It was torn and looked to be poorly installed from the factory. Overall i’m still pleased with this product.

I did did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews on various brands. .Also I watched a lot of online videos comparing all the different brands. My conclusion was that this is the best box out there for the money. The only thing I wish it had is the locks that stay inside when it is locked. If weatherguard offered that this box would be a 4 star. I've taken it through an automatic carwash and I've used a pressure washer on it to see if it leaks so I could return it if it did, but it didn't so I still have it. I'm very pleased with my purchase other than not having the locks that stay inside when they are locked. If weatherguard offers these for my tool box please contact me so I can replace them.

This is the second box I have purchased in the past 3 years. A good friend turned me on to the wider boxes, and I'm loving it!
