Reviews: Warn Soft Winch Cover

A VERY GOOD PRODUCT TO PROTECT MY WARN WINCH THIS IS THE SECOND COVER I'VE BOUGHT FOR MY 1985 JEEP, DOES A GREAT JOB PROTECTING MY WINCH.

A bit difficult installing it with Poison Spyder Bruiser recessed bumper but cover is of great quality and fits snugly! Hoping it’s durable and won’t fade with sun exposure.

Fit perfect on vr10. Not loose. Even still usable with cover on which is nice

The cover is nice but it differs from the cover shown in the picture and on the Warn packaging. The original Warn 8274 winch covers were rectangular with the logo in the front center like as depicted in the picture. This one is more rounded and the logo ends up at the upper front center and is hidden by my bull bar. It does fit but is not the cover that I was expecting.

This cover is a vast improvement over the previous design, the vinyl is thicker, durable and has a tailored fit. Since my Scout lives outside the main reason I bought this cover was to protect my synthetic winch line from the harsh SoCal UV rays and occasional rain fall. The winch could be operational with the cover on but then you couldn’t see the line being spooled on the drum.

Ok, works fine, but climbing steep hills notice about 10 degrees of extra heat, removed on hill and cooled back down. Sowill use all the time except on climbing hills and will watch in desert.

Keeps glacier slit off my winch- to bad 4 wheel parts does not have a store/shop in anchorage the local jeep shop closed we sure could use a new one.

I would like to have seen 1/2 webing for the tie downs.

Works great to cover the winch and protecth the winch rope but I can't use it going down the road as it blocks the radiatore and causes overheating. I use it when the Jeep is parked.
