the warn elite bumper was a great fit and finish. Pretty easy to install, the directions were not real clear on the removal of the factory fog lights. Looks great.

Overall this is a great bumper. The only complaint is the lack of detail and clarity in the instructions. My son helped me install it. We are both very handy, but we struggled at times to understand the instructions as they relate to proper bolts for several steps. The hardware package is separated into multiple sections, yet bolts do not appear to be sorted by location/function and none of the sections are labeled. In addition, the instructions for mounting the OEM fog lights are very vague with photos from a JK (the bumper is for a JL). The end product is very nice and well made, but the install time would be shorter with better instructions.

This bumper is the reason I am writing this review. I was cut off with not enough room by a guy moving between two Semi’s stopped in traffic as I was driving by in the HOV lane. No where to go and no time to decrease my speed enough to avoid. This bumper saved our lives though my brand new JLUR of less than six months and one oil change didn’t make it. I am most grateful for my life and my sons. Per the collision folks assessment, again thank you for your excellent engineering folks, again I am most appreciative. I am working on my next bumper and Zein 12s Platinum winch for my now fifth Jeep and another JLUR now a 2019.

This is a heavy bumper. YOU WILL need help installing this in the form of a couple friends or in my case an ATV lift was the perfect helper. Take you time and be patient. I think Warn could learn a few things about technical instructions. The fog lights "wiring extension kit" is a complete joke. It contained two wires that are about 8 inches long, 4 crimp connectors and some plastic wire shielding. The only thing that was useful was the wire shielding. I took apart the existing wire harness and adjusted the locations that the wires Y'd apart and I was able to get the extra length I needed and the wires are still slack. I used the provided wire shielding to protect the newly exposed wiring. The bracket for relocating the vacuum canister barely fits in place with ZERO room to spare! I think they changed the relocation bracket at some point. I would have given a 5 if it were not for the poor instructions.

This winch bumper looks better on the rig than in the pictures. I mounted my old 9000xi with no major problems. The side braces had to be modified as well as having to procure some hardware would be my only complaints.
