Works great! Inflates 35” tires fast. Also this compressor is so quiet compared to others, 100% recommend.

This is a pretty darned good kit! The compressor is great - 150 psi, 100% duty cycle. The tank is 2.5 gallons, so it's enough to do most basic work. Plus, when it empties, the 100% duty cycle compressor won't (shouldn't!) burn up re-filling the tank. I have mine set up for filling tires/whatever, and powering an air horn, and it seems to be pretty capable for handling these tasks. This compressor kit includes all you need in order to do a BASIC installation. This means, if you want the compressor mounted right next to the air tank, and to plug straight into the air tank with your output hose (no remote connection locations), this kit will be all you need. If you want to mount the tank under the truck, and the compressor somewhere else, you may end up needing additional fasteners, hose, wire, etc, etc. But, that's fine, because you can still use the fasteners and such included with this kit. I debated giving this only 4 stars instead of 5 because you will likely have to purchase additional fittings and such, as mentioned, to mount this according to your personal desires onto your vehicle. But, after thinking about it, I figured that VIAIR couldn't include all of the additional hose, connections, wiring, etc to suit everyone's needs without making the kit cost a lot more. So, for the items necessary for a basic installation (or the for the basic components for your own custom installation), this kit is really nice.

I have purchased, and unpacked the kit. Next I need to find places to mount the compressor and tank. Maybe I should have considered all this prior to purchase, but figure the full size Bronco is BIG, and I should be able to find somewhere! I'm considering mounting the compressor in the engine bay, where the old jack used to reside (if it will fit), and mount the tank under the vehicle somewhere a rock can't destroy it. It would be REALLY nice if Viair had mounting locations for various vehicles on their web site, along with an additional parts list. I am looking forward to airing up my tires, running an air horn, and maybe in the future air lockers. I was excited to think that I could also use air tools, but concerned that this unit with 2.5 gallon tank may not have the power to run them well. I need to investigate furthur, maybe a Viair forum could be helpful?

This is a great kit at a great price! Installation required carefull thought and planning to get everything to fit nicely in my TJ. I found that the "everything you need in a one box" was only accurate if you mount the compressor and shut off switch directly to the tank. This is NOT a likely scenario for most installs. I had to buy a few more fittings to get everything located where I wanted. Once installed it worked like a charm. I've had it out several times now and it airs up all 4 tires reasonably fast. It's nice to flip the switch from inside the cab and start the tank filling as I approach the end of the trail getting a jump start on my buddies and their portable compressors. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Bigger Project to install than I expected but once it was done it is worth it.
