Wish the packaging/description stated which way the air is supposed to flow. The check valve itself has an arrow on it. There is another version that is sold by VIAIR that is the reverse of this. Just so you all know... this version has air flow direction going IN the female end and going OUT the male end. Pretty important you get your check valve setup properly or you'll have zero air flow through your OBA setup.
