Torq Engineering RAV4 2" Lift Kit - RAV-001

I got this installed on the 22 Hybrid Limited. The install was straight forward and the video was easy to follow along with as I did it myself (with help). If you are going to DIY, I'd recommend another person to help with the rear and if you have access to a lift, use a lift. But the end result is amazing and it looks great.

Great Quality

I bought this in January and have been loving it ever since. The extra clearance is noticeable and has beloved me clear obstacles I had not been previously able to do before. No issues thus far and ride quality is maintained.

Overall worth it, but some minor deficiencies...

Overall happy with this kit but definitely several downsides. First, and I think this is probably a shortcoming of ALL spacer kits is that it is not 2"... (yes I know, 2 front/1.5 rear- it isn't THAT either). The front spacers are only 1.5", and the rear 1" I have had people try to tell me that the geometry changes and you will gain more, but after installation, I gained about 1.75" in the front and 1.25" in the rear. (I know, sort of nitpicking here over a whole .25" but if I had known that sooner, I probably would have gone with the Rough Country "2.5 inch" kit to gain the full 2" (+?) that I was hoping for... I emailed the company about this, and no response. Again, really not a big deal, but it leaves a huge "WTF Mate???" in my mind. Second, the bolts for the rear spacers, and the bolts on the front spacers, as well as the nuts and washers are the blue-ish zinc alloy, which I don't care for on cars. Again, not the end of the world, as I put a healthy coating of Fluid Film Rust protection on afterwards. Overall I am happy with the product and 4WP had it almost $100 cheaper than anywhere else! Customer service could be better in responding to concerns, and unfortunately Torq Engineering's installation instructions are marginal at best. I ended up using Reika's youtube videos and torque specs. I noticed when uninstalling the factory parts, they loosed right at Reika's torq specs (all of them were about 5 ft-lbs more than Torq Engineering's specs) so I went with the +5 ft-lbs of Reika's specs when installing. Reika's youtube videos (2 of them, one about 30 minutes, and another about 17 minutes long) were a HUGE help in the installation process.) The last bonus was that 4WP offered free shipping whereas Reika did not, so I went with this product as it saved me about $20, considering this kit was cheaper at 4WP than through Torq Engineering directly. (and lets be honest, the price was a big factor in my decision) I think either kit would have been just about the same in the long run. I just wish Bilstein would get on it and make a complete suspension upgrade kit for the gen5 Rav4, (struts/springs/toe and cam adjustments/etc) but so far nothing...

Great Product, Incorrect Hardware

The spacers themselves were amazing quality. The instructions didn’t quite match the actual product I had but I figured it out and then came to realize, I was missing M12 washer nuts. With the front end taken off we had to stop and go to lowes to find something that would work. Good product but the team must look into which mounts are given and send the appropriate hardware to accommodate the installation.

1 happy camper

I bought this 2" lift for my 2020 Rav4 XLE Hybrid and it was easy to install. It took 2 hours with the help of 2 other guys. The Rav looks great now and I'm happy that I have that extra clearance so I can put on a tent and water tank for some overlanding adventures.

Torq brand 2 1/2 inche lift kit

We did my wife’s 2021 Rav4 with this Torq lift along with 245/60/R18 rims and gained around 16 inches of ground clearance. Car drives smooth with no issues. Car turns lots of heads as it also has roof rack, brush guard and led spot light. We do a lot of camping and can’t wait to take it out to tougher terrain.

Rav4 lift

Had this professionally installed on my 2020 Rav4 XSE Hybrid. Gave me a 2inch lift in front and rear looked more like a 1 inch lift when measuring rear bumper height. I did loose 2-4 MPG after this install but that was expected. This product is as expected, good quality and is cheaper than readylift kit that does the same job. Ordering here was simple process and shipping was quick, received my order after a few days or within a week.

Torq Engineering lift kit almost.

It works well enough for what it is. The instructions aren't very good though. The sway bar link relocation brackets aren't quite up to the fit and finish of the rest of the product and could probably use some material removed for clearance from the strut body so they mount straighter. This is probably the best value in 2019+ Rav4 lifts. Ignore the weak instructions and grind the brackets. This is the lift kit you are looking for.

2" lift kit 2020 Toyota RAV4

The 2" lift kit is excellent, all the parts you need and price is very reasonable.
