Excellent modification and fits exactly with the TerraFlex hinge assy

Easy install, did it by my self in under an hour. The hardest part was getting the peg into one of the three holes.

My son’s 2011 Jeep Wrangler was rear ended by a Full size pick up truck. The rear glass busted out of the hardtop & body was tweaked but all tail lights remained undamaged. My son & both of his passengers walked away unharmed. We even drove the Jeep home from the crash scene. The TaraFlex H/D mount & spare tire took the impact & redirected the force downward. The Jeep was totaled due to frame damage. We replaced that vehicle with another Jeep & ordered a TaraFlex H/D Mount first thing.

Instillation was easy. Secured my tire to the back of the Jeep eliminating the gap from the tire to the tailgate. Now my tire is kept connected to the tailgate without the ability to bounce and damage the tailgate. (And when I increase my tire size I just have to make a bolt change to accept the next size up!)
