The Smittybilt XRC 9500 Gen 3 is a great winch. Smooth and quiet operation. The handset controller is ergonomic and easy to use. I especially like the magnets and the built in flashlight.

Great Winch. I love the feature on the controller that tells you how much strain is on the winch. It was very helpful the first time I used it. Got me up the obstucle with no issues.

Installation instructions were not as complete as I expected, but I didn't have any problems with the installation. Even though they specified blue Loctite for the rope anchor screw, they didn't include any. So I had to run to the auto parts store. You will also want to watch some YouTube videos to help you decide on the best wire routing for your Jeep. Overall, though, it's not too difficult. The winch ran smoothly loading the rope. The load indicator on the controller is a very nice feature.

The winch was a breeze to install, I haven't used it yet but I'm happy to have it just in case!

Winch is great, love the look on my Jeep and it pulls smooth and powerful.

No issues at all with the winch other than hardware not staying tight. I've had it for just over a year and I run the winch inside my front T4R grill on a SSO winch bumper. Recently found out the two small hex screws mounting the control box to top of winch had vibrated out and are missing. Now the box is shifting back and forth. Can I get those replaced or at the very minimum, let me know the screw size. TIA!

This winch was easy to install, looks great and seems solid. The only issue is the wires behind the control box are tight to the front grill on the Jeep. It should be ok, but overtime it may pinch the wires.

Added this to my 2019 JLUR on an after market copy of the Mopar Stubby steel bumper. While it's a tight fit on the bumper, it does fit. Installation is straight forward and SB includes color instructions that are easy to follow. On the trail it performs great and I have no issues in the half dozen or so times I have used to help others that got stuck in mud or over a large rock.
