Ordered powder coat, but received gloss finish. Had to install anyway because of lack of bumper. Still looks great. Very easy to install, but getting old OE bumper off a bear!

Good looking bumper. Easy install if your frame isn't a little twisted. Took a little persuasion with a rubber mallet.

Bumper fit well. For an economy replacement part, my father-in-law was pleased and gave his MY12 Wrangler the “old school” CJ look.

My frame was a bit narrower than the bumper mounts so I needed to use spacers and I picked up some grade 8 bolts to mount it since original bolts wouldn't work. Seems solid and sturdy and looks good on the old (79) CJ7. Great service and shipping. Thanks

This bumper is simple to install, just remove the bolts from the factory bumber, put this one on and tighten them down. Takes about 5 minutes!

This bumper saved the front end of my sons 93YJ. He hit a 3/4 ton work truck at about 20 mph on a rainy night. He's fine. I only have to replace for cosmetic reasons.

I have always wanted a bumper for my wrangler to change the look but was tight on cash. If you are a visual guy like I am with directions you can just take the pamphlet that Smittybilt gives you and throw it away.
