Download the install PDF from Rugged Ridge. The instruction pics that come with look like they are copied from a fax from 1988. Other than that it took all of 15 min to install and no modifications to the front bumper needed.

When I opened the box it came with old instructions , for up to a 2010. When I went to install the first bolt I couldn't get my fingers into the area. The area is seal off with my 2014.I went to my hardware store and bought a m12 4 1/2" bolt. This allows you to pass threw the sealed area and bolt the nut on the other side. Cost me $10 for this stainless steel bolt but was worth it. I installed it in 15 minutes. Also on the second bolt where they tell you to balance the nut on the allen wrench , put a piece of tape on it so you don't lose it.

The installation was actually a LOT easier the many of the reviews will have you believe. Watch the YouTube videos first. The best advice I can give is to completely ignore the bit where it says balance the nut on the supplied Allen wrench and dangle it down from the top! Don't! Tape it to a long wrench and feed it up from the bottom. Do the top one first on each side. I can confirm there is absolutely no drilling needed at all. It was a perfect fit for my 2014 Wrangler Sport. I did just loosen the plastic horizontal trip, under the grill, then tightened it up again after fitting, but I probably didn't need to. I did not need to jack the car up or anything - it was a very quick, easy upgrade, and it looks great. Plus shipping was ultra fast! I ordered it Thursday afternoon, it was on my porch by Friday lunchtime and on the car Saturday morning!

Could not install this due to a tow bar assembly so that I can tow my jeep. Also, you have to cut holes in the facia of the bumper to get the mounts thru. The instructions do not address this matter.

Cut the ends off the top bumper cover to make mounting brackets easier, not in instructions, only to find it's almost impossible to get the nuts and washers in position to align with bolts. So the fasteners are not well thought out. Thought about tacking it but decided to let my Jeep guy work his tricks/magic.

This product's great. gave the look I was looking for and made the front look alot tougher. The best thing is that the price is right.
