Reviews: Rancho RS5000 Shock Packages

Got these to replace the factory stock shocks on my '10 2 door sport JK. Got a call the day after ordering and Roy in customer service helped make sure I had the right ones. I also installed springs from a 4 door rubicon. The shock/spring combo fit perfect and I got a little lift out of it. The shocks ride much better than stock. Install was easy too.

Installation was easy. Jeep now rides alot better than it did before. Only downside was trying to slide the boot over the rear shocks. I ended up ripping one of them. A local shop wanted almost $500 to buy/install 4 shocks, so I bought these for about $180 and installed them myself. The hardest part was getting the front ones off. When I tried to remove the top nut, the shaft would spin. I had to hold it with a set of locking pliers to get the nut off. The Rancho shocks went on easily and I don't have the bounce I used to have. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Look Great and improved the ride 100% on my 2003 Hummer H2.

I’ve used Rancho for about 20 years mostly in my own vehicles with seven friends and some in a restoration projects are done and I am very happy with Rancho and I’ve use their 7000 series and I’ve been very happy with Rancho.

Delivered when promised. Installation relatively simple. Nice solid smooth ride. Recommend to friends. Will definitely would by again.

Improved my ride on and off road in all ways possible. Should be one of the first upgrades you get for your Jeep OR Truck really.

The struts from rancho are awesome.. guy who sold me them did not realize that I needed Spring pads under the front struts So now I have to pay to have them Removed and replaced again.$$$

Ordered the Rancho RS5000 package for my 2018 F-150. A tech called me shortly thereafter and said the struts needed for the front were not available in Rancho. I went with a Billstein package and am quite pleased with the vehicle leveling and ride.

Had these on 3 different trucks and off-roaded a fair bit. They lasted almost 7 years before I figured I should replace them. That in it's self is worth the little extra in price. Still very afordable too!

I have had my ford Ranger 4x4 since 1998 and I enjoy the ride better than ever now that I have rancho rs 5000 shocks. I drive 70 a day round trip on the freeway and there are plenty of bumps, pot holes and objects to avoid. These shocks do at least 100 times better than the previous shocks. The ride is more stable and less bouncy. My tires are now wearing properly too. I hope to do some off road driving when I put new a/t tires. Thanks you Rancho Co. and 4wheelparts.
