Sturdy, well-fitted, good-looking. Looks better than I expected. Looks as though part of the body. I like that the step portion does not extend out so that it is in danger of crashing into rocks.

I purchased these looking for a cheaper solution to rock protection. I've had a few products by Rampage and they make good, tough products made for abuse. These came with very small self-tapping screws that I didn't feel would hold if they took a significant hit. Also, I have Goodyear 35x12.50's on my Jeep Wrangler (03 Sahara) with a 4 inch suspension lift and where they sat I didn't feel comfortable with the amount of room for the front tire to sit. So I had to take them down to the local welding shop and have them cut 4 inches out of the center and weld them on the frame. They look and work great, but it tagged another $200 to my "cheaper" solution. However, if you're not doing excessive crawling and you don't have significantly larger tires (or are fine with welding them to your vehicle) I strongly recommend them. They are very tough and look great.
