ES 3000

Great replacement for my 1998 Cherokee. Better ride and stability.

Very happy with the procomp3000. I replaced all 6 shock absorbers (dual fronts) because the monroe senseatracks were garbage. Its like a whole different truck now. Road and off road handling is greatly improved. Love them.

too easy

By far the easiest swap we have done. Replaced Procomp for procomp and didn't have to take tires off or jack the truck up. Woohooo F150 4x4 96

Great shocks

I just put these shocks on my 95 Jeep XJ with about 6in of lift. I bought them because the price was great with the sale on 4wheelparts.com and because the shocks on my XJ were shot. I have always liked ProComp stuff, but never used the shocks, I figured I would give them a shot. When I opened the box I was really suprised, the shocks are compressed and have no wire holding them that way. This concerned me. I pulled them out to full extension and then pushed them back in. They do not extend on their own. My mind was blown, I was thinking I bought junk shocks and ready to return them. I called the 4wheelparts in Raliegh and asked about them. The rep explained to me that they are oil filled not gas, and this was normal. I was thinking they would be junk. I installed them anyway. I am glad I did. These are awesome, ride is way better, on and offroad. Handling on road is way better, especially when hitting bumps in a construction zone or something. No more bouncing or super tank like feeling. These seriously make my 20 year old, lifted Jeep feel like a newer, stock jeep on the road. Offroad, the bumps on trails that used to jar me if i was moving faster than idle are now too easy even at speeds that are probably too fast for the trail. I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to because I am so impressed with what I got for the money from these shocks. Buy these and you will be happy with your rig.
