Reviews: Oracle Lighting Cargo Light Kits

The light is super bright and actually has 2 rows of white leds. When the lift gate is open one shines in the cargo area and the other shines down over the rear bumper area. Installation takes minutes and is super easy.

I'm not sure what's up with the negative reviews on these but they are perfect. Length is true as advertised (5ft of actual LED's), the quality seems to be good although I've only had them in for a week. Also, they are a nice pure white light with no bluish or purple tint. The double sided tape has adhered very well, and I have them mounted in an upside down orientation. I made sure to install on a fairly warm day, approx 22 deg C and sunny. I uncoiled and let them lie flat for a week before installing so there was no memory effect, plus let them sit that way in the sun for a half hour before sticking them on. I attached them to the underside of the bed rails on my Leer HF650M cover after cleaning the surface with the included alcohol wipes and they're on there! Would buy again without hesitation.

I love it. So much more light to find the gear you are looking for in the back. I like the addition of the yellow emergency flashing light for added safety. It was just a little tough to get the screws started at first. I used a pencil on the end of the screw to leave a mark so I could tell where it was hitting, then adjusted the position of the light and it went right in. Anything to leave a mark will help you.

Very happy with these bed lights. I tapped into my 7 pin connector in my bed and mounted the switch underneath my side rails so its all hidden. Lights are super bright, couldn't be happier!

The light output on this is great, however install was not perfect. With the included hardware that is longer than the stock screws you remove, I still had trouble getting one of the screws to start threading with out putting a ton of downward pressure. I think the provided screws could benefit from another 1/8 of inch or so in length to get those threads started.
