Been in the sand, Dumont dunes, desert trails, tow toyhauler and aired down to 20lbs no issues. Good ride on and off road. Look awesome i get comments all the time. Not the cheapest. Waiting to see final mileage, so far about 10k and they still look healthy. Wish they made sizes for my SxS.
Great ride, quiet ride, aweaome look. Very impressed thus far. Will let you know how the winter sriving pans out in British Columbia in the hillz...
I have been driving Jeeps for over 12 years and these are by far the best tires I have ever had. I do a lot of highway driving in all wheather and no matter if it's raining or snowing these tires out perform all others. I have never hydroplaned on water or slid on icy roads. Weather I'm driving in sand along the beaches of Rocky Pointe or rock climbing in Sedona, the traction never fails me. These tires are also the quietest that I have ever had. You dont hear that annoying humm sound either with the top on or off. Best of all is how Awesome they look on my Jeep.
Nitto is the only tires I buy
Awesome looking tires!...I can't count how many people have said "Cool Jeep!" after I put these on after my hum drum MTs wore out. These are also THE quietest riding offroad tires I've ever used. Feel great, look great, ride great. I've already got 4 more on order for when this set wears out in a few months. Great in sand here in Florida. Wear is about avg...I get 45k. Would recommend to anyone with a jeep.
I have a set of 5 for my Toy. Outstanding Tires. top performance. They are finally starting to wear out with over 65,000 miles and I rotate them every 5,000.
Best tire I've had and I have had them all. I am ready for a new set but, I don't see the 37s that I have on my truck. Please bring them back. Not everyone wants large knobby tires in a 37 inch height. This was the perfect combo.
I have owned 3 sets of these. First set I ran about 80k and still had some tread on them. Great on the highway, great on rocks, surprisingly good in the mud. I tow a 30' RV and 24' toy hauler pretty regularly. Have about 40k on the second set and don't even look worn and just put a third set on the wife's ESV and she even likes them!
2nd set with at least 85k combined, this is a tough tire handles everything you want minus rock crawling and wet street but for all other offroading fast technical and especially super soft sand air down turns my 05 taco double cab 6" syspension lift procomp with big bore coilover front into a dune climbing, jumping and tow your friends out of soft sand machine. Handles fast turns without a peep when back on road i ve owned a number of trucks withevery tire you could imagine from 44"-down to my current 275/70/17" they are as durable as it gets really tough tire.
Works Great on My H2 Hummer, Will Sling 20 Foot Roster tails in Sand when Used on the H 2 Hummer
I got theses tire about 2 or 3 years ago I wanted something that would hook up decently because I have a 2 wheel drive in witch had a Detroit locker when I bought it but got hit and bent rear end ended up with a limited slip that suxs but is what it is but there's tires are awesome hook up very well
At first I was sceptical about how they would perform in wet conditions due to the fact they have no siping. But my scepticisim went away quickly, these tires grip in nearly all conditions. We don't get a lot of rain in Texas but when we do it is monsoon rain and I never slipped a tire! They are not a mud tire but do ok for light mud in off-road conditions. They work great in the loose sandy conditions you encounter here in Texas. These tires are far superior to the BFG AT's that came stock on the H2 and put over 40,000 miles on them with barely any sign of wear. I will be putting a second set on my wife's Yukon very soon. You can't beat Nitto tires period. They cost a little more than some other brands but you get what you pay for.
This tire is an outstanding sand tire... Second to none! The triple-ply reinforced sidewalls let's me deflate to 5 psi without risk of popping a tire. Tarmac performance is fantastic as well, with lots of grip in the corners and low road noise compared to other brands (Cooper STTs). The performance in the wet is not fantastic, but it hardly rains here in Dubai so that's not an issue for me. Rock-crawling performance is also very good, but I don't do that very often. Running my second set of Dune Grapplers. I did about 90k km on the first set with aggressive driving and still had plenty of tread left with no cracks, discoloration, or warping. Be sure to rotate regularly and check pressures/balancing/alignment to prolong tire life. I definitely recommend this tire for dry climates and dune bashing!
2 sets and loved them,,they do wear but that's because they grip.
