Reviews: Mickey Thompson LT315/70R17 Tire, Baja Boss A/T - 90000036823

I got these to replace a set of similarly-sized M-T Deegan 38 M/Ts that were almost 5 years old. Amazingly quiet on the road, super grippy. Can't wait until winter to not have to use 4H for all the roundabouts in my city.

I was looking for a 35" tire with the 3 Peak Mountain Snow Flake Rating for our 9,000 lb 7.3L Sportsmobile 4x4, since we live in the mountains in CO. I didn't want BFGs, because I don't trust them in the rain on pavement, so I did some research on these Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT tires and read nothing but raving reviews! I bought them and had them installed at 4WP in Springs and the first place we took them was up and over Medano Pass on the last day of the season that it was open. Rocks, ice, snow, muds, deep sand, and water crossings were no issue at all with these tires. Since then, we have put a lot of miles on these tires both on the highway and in the backroads and through snow about 10-12" deep. We live at 9,200' and these tires have performed excellently in all conditions thrown at them so far.

My 315 70 R17 Baja Boss AT’s are great on my 2013 Tundra. Perfect balance of safety and performance for towing my 6,000lbs my off-road trailer through the mountains while we camped for 6 weeks. They grip the paved mountain curves and steep passes like glue and have great braking power. They performed strong on off-road trails, fire service roads, and washboard areas. I didn’t get in much heavy mud and didn’t do any difficult trails but these things crawled out of some steep dirt and rocks and over anything I encountered. Also pretty quiet. Only have about 3000 miles on them, so time will tell how well they hold up. So far they are awesome and perform as good as they look.

Love these tires on my Jeep! They are super aggressive looking but ride very smooth and surprisingly quiet. Mud and gravel clean out really well and keep the tread grippy. 10/10 would buy again.

These tires fit my Jeep Wrangler GREAT! Instead of sounding like an illiterate moron and complaining because they dont fit on an "Escape 2011" , whatever that is, I did my research and in nearly every case a Jeep like mine will easily accept tires this size with the appropriate offset rims.
