Reviews: Kentrol Tail Light Guards

I put these on my 88 jeep wrangler yj and they look SHARP! They look good and hold up great to abuse. The welds are strong and proven to last.

Was a simple install- the hardest part was getting the headlights undone to install the guards on them, but that was because of the age of my vehicle, and no reflection on the part itself. Instructions could be a little clearer for the taillight guards, but otherwise simple and easy to follow. Looks great and keep all but the smallest stones from smacking the lights.

This item is NOT to protect the marker lights found in the fenders, but rather are for use on the turn signals on the '07-'14 JK Wranglers.

I had been looking for something to help protect my tail lights due to their exposure to everything. I did not think that most of the other "plastic" ones would hold up well to the Southern Arizona sun. These look like they will work very nice. A little pricey but it seems that most things for the Jeep Wrangler have a premium price tag.
