Reviews: Kentrol Dash Overlay

Great product, easy to install. One problem; it is POLISHED stainless steel. I was looking for brushed stainless finish. The polished surface reflected my black interior and appeared to be black. I simply used 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper (auto paint suppplies) on a sanding block and wet-sanded it in one direction and acheived the satin brushed look I was after. It now appears silver and contrasts my black dash and interior nicely. IT LOOKS GREAT!

This is a great product it was the correct thickness for the vent controls and has the studs on the back for the speedometer and speakers. My only issue was the holes that were predrilled for the glove box latch were off , I made due, this is stainless so it is hard to drill. I did not care for the brushed stainless look so I had it powder coated.
