I bought this rack for my kayak.It was very well made.I bought the cross supports also.It is perfect way to haul all your gear.Also it was easy to install.

Great rack to carry my canoe and ski's or simply extra luggage on the Wrangler! The rack get's a little noisy at about 100 km/h (60mph) but there is deflectors that can be purchased to reduce that noise. I won't bother as it doesn't get excessive anyway and I like the look as it is right now!

While there may have been some swearing going on as I installed this on a sweltering Saturday morning what Jeep project truly doesn't involve swearing?!? The installation on my stock JK was straightforward and they definitely were spot on that it can be tilted back by one person when empty. It looks great and I can't wait to load it down on a long road trip. My only complaint is that you don't want to apply the silicone prior to fitting pieces as it appears they direct because it just gums up the joint and makes it more difficult to line up. Minor complaint learned on the front hoop early in the install.

As others have noted, the instructions aren't the best, but fortunately it's not too difficult to figure out. Some of the steps referred to other/older models and you just have to make some easy to figure out adjustments. There is no mention at all of the included prop rod, but again it's assembly and use is not too tough to figure out. Took about 1 1/2 hours to install, no modifications were needed. I did it by myself, but you could use a 2nd person to help put the cage in place. The unit is very solid and stable, and the hinged rear brackets make it easy to move out of the way to get my ragtop off. They could use a better method of releasing the front braces besides unbolting them. I bought mine to carry a canoe or my cargo carrier, works fine for both.

These brackets were easy to use and install on my KM rack. The only thing I have to complain about is that I don't understand why these "adapters" aren't the the primary brackets for the rack kit. Other than that though, the brackets secured my rack to the the rack frame.

It shipped lightning fast, but there were NO INSTRUCTIONS OF ANY KIND in the box. Fortunately, instructions are available online. Installed in under two hours. Not too impressed with the front attachment to the windshield brackets. You'll need to keep a ratchet and socket in the glove box for whenever you want to put the top down. The paint also chips pretty easily. Still, it's more stout than it looks in the picture, and it held my weight with no trouble.
