Reviews: G2 NP231 Transfer Case Rebuild Kit - 37-231

Bought this for my YJ's NP231J. Parts look great and are packaged well, except I almost sent it back w/o opening the box b/c it came in a "Ring and Pinion Installation Kit" box. Upon opening, there is no type of info packet, instructions, or even an inventory to know if you got everything. Luckily I have rebuilt several of these and know the bearings and seals. As long as you remove and replace one bearing at a time you should be fine.

This was a great kit and the tcase went back together quite easily. However I will say that half the kit was unusable for me since I have a terralow 4:1 gears tcase. This is my mistake to think all bearings and seals would be needed or compatible.
