Reviews: G2 Dana 35 Rear 4.11 Ratio Ring and Pinion - 2-2049-411

Everything buttoned up fine. The instructions were good on the alignment issues and marking, but lacking on the torque specs for the bolts. In particular the torque for the crush washer on the pinion. That was an issue that was not entirely resolved with internet searches. I don't believe my impact ever obtained a crush on that washer and since this was a crawl under install using cheater bars wasn't much help. There seemed to be considerable debate as to what the torque on that nut should have been. I went with as much as my impact wrench could do then backed off until I had what I felt was a safe load on those tapered bearings. No oil leaks, back up and running. It's very quiet and smooth. Very happy with the results but would have appreciated a little more help on the torque specs.
