huge difference with 37's and off-roading - more power on the trails - mostly overlanding.

I bought the Jeep new from the dealer with a lift and 35” tires and 3.21 stock gears. The bigger/heavier tires made the acceleration sluggish especially in lower gears. These gears were put in to pull a trailer occasionally, drive mountainous roads, and be able to accelerate and merge more safely and efficiently. The acceleration difference with these 4.88s is ridiculously night and day. I love it. The RPMs are about 300 higher, so GPM may take a hit depending on driving style and speed. I have not noticed a huge difference. Still getting about 300miles to a tank
