Great Price! Nice and Quiet!

I was concerned that a few reviews indicated that their R&P's were noisy. I have found just the opposite. Install went smooth, and after about 5000 miles, almost all of it towing a 2700lb trailer, it's still quiet and tight. 75% less cost than a factory replacement, and seemed heavier than the original that came out.

Great set of gears

I installed these in my 94 1500 and noticed a big difference in the off idle power. I went from the stock 3:55's to a set of these and the engine no longer shifts all over the place while driving around town or going up a hill. Fuel mileage is about the same. I'll be using G2's in the future again. Don't forget if you change your ratio from the stock setup it'll throw off your speedometer....

Your loud gears...

Mr. Sings-like-a-canary probably needs to check pre-load on the pinion shaft, spacing & gear-lash(w/shim kit), and or fluid(s) for starters. Recommend using a Master Install kit w/instructions, and using ALL required torque wrenches and gauges.

does its job

before buying this product i did alot of research. I went with these gears because they said it is as queit as stock gears...bottom line there arent, they arent loud but you can hear a slite whine...would buy again though, truck pulls hard of the line, not worried about breaking teeth on gears

Upgrade time !

Needed an upgrade from my stock 3.55 to 4.10's as they were beginning to wear.

May I have cheese with this Whine

The gear ratio is great for driving, towing and reasonable gas mileage. The bad, it has a gear whine between 40 to 55 mph.4wheel parts went thru 3 sets, before saying they couldn't get rid of it.My advice, get the warranty if you buy these gears.

Great performance, but really loud

I went from the the factory 3.55 in my 2009 Dodge RAM 1500 to G2's 4.10. The difference in performance is like night and day. Finally the truck feels like it's got the 390+ horse power Dodge claims. It was an added bonus that based on my driving style, I actually saw a +1 MPG increase! The horrible part is that these gears have a very, very high pitched whine. Even with a Flowmaster Super 40 on the truck, the rear end will drown out the exhaust and even the radio when it's only turned on low. If you've got a newer truck with a quiet cab, skip these and go with OEM gears or you'll be regretting it. [...]
