Reviews: Corbeau Seat Brackets with Slider

I bought my corbeau seats and originally installed them in my YJ RE-USING THE FACTORY seat brackets. They bolted right in but the seats were tilted back a bit further than I was comfortable with and sat higher than factory seats. The seats were raised and tilted to a point that I wasn't comfortable at all. I ordered these brackets and they %100 put my seats back to level and correct height. Definitely recommend getting these brackets if buying corbeau seats. Remember there are two different part numbers (left and right side seats)

These are super sturdy and should hold up to the offroading task, however the slides aren't super easy on either of the brackets I got. They require more effort than the OEM ones, to slide, but I don't need to adjust the seats too often.

I've been searching for a seat bracket to lower my seats and use the stock steering wheel. I removed the sliders and drilled new holes in the bracket and it work perfect. Exactly what I was looking for

to retro into a 40 year old vehicle and fit so well....excellent product.

If you want to save time and the agony of making your own brackets and you are using Corbeau seats then this is the product for you. It fits perfect on the original seat base making the installation super easy.

easier than building one!

Purchased this instead of the adapter bracket as I had heard it was an easier install and didn't sit as high. It was a very simple install. Took about 1-2 minutes to install the bracket onto the bottom of the Corbeau seat and another 5 minutes at most to install into the Jeep. Used this in a 1998 TJ. Holes lined up perfectly. Quality was very good and it is a sturdy product. It does slide forward/backward however you lose the tumble feature with this product. Keep your bolts to mount the bracket to the tub of the Jeep or purchase new matching bolts since they do not come with this bracket. Bolts to mount the bracket to the seat are included. There is a place on the bracket to install your stock seat belt receiver so transfer that from the stock seat to this new bracket if staying with stock belt system. Overall, I'd estimate these sit you slightly higher up than stock but nothing extreme. I'm 5'8" so it's not an issue.

I had to order this after installing a new Corbeau Seat. The new seat bolted up to the factory bracket but sat much higher. So I ordered this, and it did lower my seat, but also tilted it forward. So I placed some washers under the front legs(NOT DOT Approved) to get it to tilt back a little more. The shortest leg on the D1038T measures 2 ? from the floorboard to underneath the bracket. It cleared my amps by 1/8" Note: After I placed the washers under the front, I had to remove the plastic cover from the lower seatbelt module as the seat hit it when moved back.

They did fit but defiantly needs some work to get the holes to line up... after all said and done and bolted in they were rock solid and worked smooth

The product was amazing bolted right in place direct fit like it said. Only thing I wasn't happy about was over a month wait for the order to be processed.

This seat adapters were just about perfect for taking some custom seats I bought online and adapting them to my YJ. They made the seats just a little too high to drive with though. Contacted the manufacturer before I purchased the adapters and they supplied great technical information via email and response to questions.
