Definitely a pain in the butt to install but not as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be. Lining up the actual fender to the bracket takes the longest. Spend time prepping parts and it’s straight forward.
Awesome fender flares! Super strong and fairly easy to install. Running a 3in lift with 33in tires and I think they'll clear fine! I don't do any heavy twisting so...
The install is not bad but the speed clips do like to move when you slide the fender onto the mounts. This makes finding the holes a real challenge at times. I tried crimping them in place but they still moved. I found using a very thin, micro thin, needle nose plier could be shoved into the fender hole to fish the speed clip back into place. Once you get that figured out everything else is not terrible. I started trimming the inner fender with my Dremel but found my oscillating tool(pictured) to cut them much better. It made light work of that part of the job. I love the way they turned out and I'm very happy with the look.
Great fit and easy straight forward installation. The finish on flares is perfect. The flares are plenty wide enough to keep the cops from bothering me. They keep most of the mud and road filth off my Jeep
Not that easy to put on but we’ll worth the effort. Durable, rugged and look fantastic. Great product.
Install takes time to get everything right but perfect look that I was expecting.
Paper instructions are tough in black and white so look at a video just in case
These fenders were easy to install with no drilling required. I really like the way they changed the look of my Jeep
We needed a solution for more wheel space without using a lift kit. The Bushwacker fenders were perfect in solving our challenge. The install was a little lengthy and I learned a few tricks along the way. They look great and perform extremely well!
Love the fenders and they look great on the jeep. The install was not so smooth. Aligning the fender screw holes over the mounting pieces was not easy. I used cardboard pieces behind the speed nuts to keep them in place but it was still difficult to get the holes to line up. I did the driver side first. On the passenger side I put the mounting pieces into the fenders to check the alignment of the holes and they lined up. Still wasn’t easy but the passenger side did go better. On my 2014 JKUR I did not have the factory retainer / nut for the inner shield. Wound up getting one from the dealership for an outrageous $10. Also had to drill a hole for it since there was not a hole in the shield. The bolt was there so it worked out in the end. Be patient, take your time, you will eventually holes to line up and fenders will look great!
