Initial installation is difficult to stretch but once installed it is easy to remove and replace parts. it has many configurations and it latches right into place using the stock latches--it also looks good installed.

Watch the how to video on you tube made buy best top. They made it easy enough I installed it myself and I and a 46 yr old woman. I LOVE THE TOP! NOT ANY MORE ROAD NOISE THAN WITH MY HARD TOP.

Ordered this top, because my Jeep came with only a hardtop. The instructions that came with this top really sucked. Thank God we found a video, which was easy to understand and follow. So much quieter than the soft top I had on my old Jeep. It fits snug and has very little noise.

This product was very easy to install. I read instructions which were designed for those who only read pictures. I also watched the Best top installation video on U tube. The video stated about two (2) hours to install I completed it in 45 minutes. I did lay the top and window in the sun (98 degrees) for 2 hour prior to the installation. This worked great, no down time for stretching and zippering the windows to the top. Great product, no brainier to installation. Fits great.

This top is an excellent replacement for the factory top. Road/wind noise is comparable to the factory installation. One day of Florida thunderstorms and one visit to a car wash have revealed no leaks. Install at 75 degrees or higher, and use the Jeep heater to assist in softening and stretching the top.

Saying that this was an easy install goes short of how easy the install was. I looked over the instruction and looked on YOUTUBE at the video on the installation if you are a visual person this works great. This replaced my hard top for the spring through early fall top. It can be used as a safari top by unzipping the windows and storing in the jeep, what a great option when you travel out of town and want to remove your top. You can remove and reinstall as needed in about 15 minutes. If you are in the need for a new soft top I say go with this. GREAT JOB TO BESTOPS.

Ordered this to replace original top because it has no frame, has tinted windows and can become a safari top. Also looks sporty. Ordered at Truck & Jeep fest and waited over 4 months but worth the wait. Fits fine with factory half doors and soft uppers. As good or better than factory. Also thanks to the guys at the Austin store for a job well done.

I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to my hard top for summer. After getting caught in the rain once with my hard top at home, I decided to buy a soft top. Needing all hardware to replace a hard top, I decided the trektop nx was for me. I have had it on for about two months and I am extremely happy. Very versatile with several options for summer cruising. Watch the youtube video for an easy installation the first time.

I have a hardtop but during the summer missed my old softtop. This was less expensive then a replacement top when you add in the support bars and surrounds, etc. Installation was ok, but the directions are pretty hard to understand. The pictographs don't show where or what orientation the vehicle is, so you're left guessing if it's left or right, front or rear facing. But a little time and it goes on pretty well. Attaching the windows is very hard on mine. They have to be put on in a particular order so you can get the zippers started, and on mine, by the time you get to the passenger side window there is so little slack left the window ends up being pulled and almost impossible to get attached. Once on it seems ok but just very hard to get on. With my old softtop I had it down to getting the windows on in about 5 minutes, takes probably 10 now. Getting the windows off is considerably easier! Had read in a forum that one person was able to use a side panel bag and basically attach it up above the sport rails to keep them safe and out of the way. Haven't tried that yet but intend to. Only problem with them off is there is a flap that at highway speeds is LOUD! The rear window attaches to the top via a plastic channel, then (on the top) a flap extends over with a couple of velcro patches that cover the channel and the zippers. With the window out, that flap just (pardon the pun) flaps in the breeze. Not noticeable at low speeds, but on the highway it gets pretty bad. I was able to kind of stick the edge of the flap into the plastic channel and that seemed to take care of it, but a little more velcro to the bottom of the flap could have solved the whole problem. Considering it was much less than a full softtop, and I like the bikini style with the windows off, I do recommend the top. Just be warned it's a little tough to get installed the first time and the windows are a bit of a pain to put on. Otherwise I'm glad I purchased it!

It was easier to install than originally thought. However there are no words in the instruction so you have move forward and come back to better identify pictures. Finally my biggest issue is the sides do not easily wrap around the door surround for a good fit. Much of the time it is flapping.

I bought this top to give my 2012 Wrangler a different look from the typical soft top. It was really pretty easy to install. I'm really happy with it. It takes a few days for it to stretch into shape. So give it time to settle in. The back window was a tight fit at first, but now it's no problem.

Very nice good looking top. My only gripe was the instalation. Very, very tight fit. The windows were extremly hard to install. I did this on a warm August day in SOCAL (high 90's). Had hopes that it would stretch. Instructions wer a little lacking but I feal any person can do this. Just take your time and don't rush it.
