This thing is awesome, I was getting ready to air down the old-fashion way when a guy on the trail brought this over to help out. Takes about 30 seconds to get it hooked on and then less than a minute to air down my 40s from 35lbs to 15, (and those things hold a ton of air.

Airing down is a part of off roading that's a PITA. either you push the core in and wait a long time, stopping often to check pressure or you pull the core and continually check pressure and then fight the escaping air putting it back in. Ever drop a core in the sand, water or snow and have to search for it while your tire keeps deflating? This tool is awesome, screw it on, unscrew the core while it remains secure in the tool and keep checking the tire pressure. Once at the desired pressure just simply screw the core back in and unscrew the tool of the stem! Makes deflating easy.
