Install was not to bad for someone with average mechanical abilities.

Great bumper! Like the looks and function. Be prepared to sort through pounds of unmarked hardware. Recommend getting a metric tread checker. Also if you run a winch with synthetic cable you’ll need to plan on a spacer kit from ARB that will add an additional $100 to the project.

Bumper looks great on my second gen Tacoma. There are a couple of issues. If you run a synthetic line with an aluminum Hawse fairlead, you will need to purchase the separate ARB spacer kit. It is impossible to pull on the handle of the winch to free spool the line. Just not enough space. That's coming from someone with small hands. Going to have to have a part of the bumper cut just so I can use my winch. According to sales person at my 4WP, any winch would be set up the same. I did inquire about a different winch. Overall, it looks good. If you're not going to run a winch, it's a great buy. But it is also kind of a headache with the winch situation if you add one.

Its the best bumper for the Tacoma period, full stop quit looking at other bumpers this one has all the features you need and nothing else. Gave it 4 out of 5 stars because even though the packaging was excellent it did come with scratches in the paint not big deal but worth noting.

Very pleased with the look and function of this bumper. I would give 5 stars for the product but it was received with some premature dings and dents that I acquired and did not earn through the trails just yet. Another note, a wider gap at the fender flare to bumper area is critical. I choose the smaller end of the spectrum and I have rubbing. You only get one shot after drilling the additional holes, unless of course, you drill even more holes. Either way very satisfied with my choice in front bumper style and I highly recommend it to others.
